Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Controller to lead our finance department.

This role presents a unique chance for a seasoned professional to manage all financial operations, provide strategic guidance, and uphold the financial integrity of the organization.

The ideal candidate will oversee all facets of accounting, financial reporting, cost management, financial oversight, general ledger activities, inventory management, month-end closing processes, key performance indicators, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting functions including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Lead the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Generate and distribute timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate regulatory reporting processes.
  • Investigate technical accounting issues to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA).
5+ years of combined experience in accounting and finance with an emphasis on process enhancement.

  • Advanced understanding of accounting principles, practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller in the consumer packaged goods sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and procedures.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements.
  • Proficient in accounting software and administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.


The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a keen analytical mindset, exceptional leadership abilities, and strong business acumen.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the capability to convey financial information and complex concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
