About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Allina Health, providing exceptional care to patients in our inpatient and consult liaison services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Provide psychiatric care and support to patients in our inpatient setting, addressing mental health, functional impairment, and co-occurring addictive or medical disorders.
  • Consult with medical teams to ensure comprehensive care and develop behaviorally focused treatment plans.
  • Develop and lead educational programs for staff on psychiatric issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage.

  • Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable.
