Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Engineer II to join our Plant Operations team. This full-time role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule during daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities

The Engineer II will be responsible for a range of tasks including, but not limited to:
  • Conducting preventive maintenance on facility equipment and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Performing inspections and maintenance on critical safety systems such as fire alarms and smoke detectors.
  • Executing various maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting.
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Responding to emergency maintenance requests during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A high school diploma or GED; an Associate's degree or technical training is preferred.
  • A current license in plumbing, electrical work, or HVAC, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to:
  • Work a standard 40-hour week.
  • Engage in physical activities such as lifting, bending, and operating machinery.
  • Work in various weather conditions as necessary.
