Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible In-Home Caregiver Assistant to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one care to adults who live with family or other caregivers or on their own, helping them succeed in their home environment and participate more fully in community life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance and strategies to individuals to live as independently as possible
  • Transport individuals to community outings, medical appointments, and shopping
  • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration
  • Support individuals with living skills, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist individuals to redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Maintaining a professional attitude and appearance at all times
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Successful clearance of background checks
