Our Team

We are seeking compassionate and customer-oriented Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. As a CNA at Douglas Cove, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for attending to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
  • You will take and record patient vital signs, lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics.
  • You will recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nurse management and ask appropriate questions to clarify situations.
  • You will communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
  • You must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program.
  • You must be currently certified as a CNA.
  • Knowledge of Point Click Care is preferred.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Shift differentials for weekends and weeknights, as well as the additional COVID-19 premium.
  • Full-time and part-time sign-on bonuses.
  • Micro-Raise opportunities perfect attendance can earn up to a 4% increase a year.
