Dietitian

Fallon Health is seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing and coordinating nutritional care for patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform age-appropriate nutrition assessments, evaluations, and education for patient populations.
- Develop and conduct nutrition education programs for patients, staff, community organizations, and the local business community.
- Evaluate and interpret current nutrition research and disseminate this information to patients, support staff, and healthcare providers.
- Establish age-appropriate plans of nutrition care related to patient-identified problems, including medication, nutrition history, education level, and socioeconomic status.
- Consult with other healthcare team members regarding nutrition care plans as necessary.
- Implement plans in a safe and effective manner.
- Document visits in a concise, clear, and logical manner.
- Evaluate the need for and/or time for follow-up.
- Recommend appropriate referrals when necessary.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of previously implemented nutrition education/treatment.
- Masters degree in nutrition specialty from an accredited college/university preferred.
- Active R.D. status with the American Dietetic Association.
- Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record Required.
- 1-3 years of nutrition experience in a healthcare facility or company.
- Proven experience developing and conducting group nutrition programs.
