We seek an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Sulphur, LA area. This role involves working under immediate supervision to assist in typing and editing CoMET Field and Lab reports. Key responsibilities include:

  • Save and manage Field and Lab Reports.
  • Type and edit Field and Lab Reports accurately.
  • Upload reports to client portals as needed.
  • Cross-check laboratory test results carefully.
  • Reach out to Field Techs for missing report information promptly.
  • Provide support to the CoMET Group as required.
  • Scan, upload, and file Lab Calibration documents to RKIS efficiently.
  • Scan, upload, and file Tech Certs to RKIS timely.
  • Assume Receptionist duties as necessary.
  • Perform all other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications include:

  • A High School Diploma or General Education Development (G.E.D.) certificate.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, along with a working knowledge of database administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.) and a 10-key calculator is essential. A minimum typing speed of 55 wpm is also required.

This role requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, using hands to manipulate objects, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, and talking or hearing. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be necessary. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Close vision (using a computer, equipment, or any other work duties that require clear vision within two feet or less) is essential for this position. The noise level is generally quiet (library, private office, etc.).

This position may require protracted or irregular hours. Flexibility to work irregular hours is necessary due to client needs.
