The Clinical Supervisor is a key member of the Nursing Department, responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of a clinical department. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to provide high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the clinical department, ensuring efficient and effective operations
- Supervise and coach nursing department associates, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient and family services
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and services
- Manage budgets and resources, ensuring effective use of departmental funds
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN preferred
- Certification/Licenses: Current RN license in the State of New Mexico, Current BLS Certification, Current ACLS Certification or obtain within 6 months
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, ability to provide high-quality patient care and services
- Experience: 3 years relevant experience
- Works irregular hours, multiple simultaneous activities of patient care
- Exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays
- Exposure to varying unpredictable situations
- Must be able to handle emergency situations, prolonged, extensive or considerable standing
- Must be able to position, push and/or transfer patients or equipment
- Must have knowledge of and use good body mechanics
