Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist Inpatient Coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating patient care services in cooperation with the healthcare team. This position requires strong surgical technologist skills and the ability to make informed decisions regarding supply and equipment management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment
  • Coordinate patient care services in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Make informed decisions regarding supply and equipment management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program
  • Previous experience as a Surgical Technician preferred
  • Successful completion of National Exam of O.R. Technicians preferred

Work Schedule

  • Varied shifts, Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
  • Potential weekend availability
  • Occasional holiday and on-call time

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $37.00 per hour, with actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
