We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality therapy services to students in a school district located in Shelbyville. The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ years of experience in speech therapy and be able to work effectively with students who have communication disorders and disabilities.

Job Overview

This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours of work per week, 5 days a week. The SLP will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with the education team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet the needs of students.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • An active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting, demonstrating expertise in creating supportive learning environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
