Responsibilities:

  • Interpret patient histories and baseline levels of function to complete comprehensive assessments
  • Develop personalized plans of care to address patient deficits and improve functional outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

Requirements:

To be successful as a Communications Specialist, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or related field
  • Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from the State of Ohio
  • Strong computer skills and experience with specialized software
  • Demonstrated expertise in areas such as cognition, aphasia, and swallowing disorders

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience

Work Environment: Outpatient Rehabilitation Department

Schedule: 16 hours per week, flexible scheduling available
