OTR Commercial Tire Technician

We are seeking a skilled OTR Commercial Tire Technician to join our team at McCarthy Tire Service Co. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing commercial tire service, diagnosing and repairing commercial vehicles, and ensuring the safe operation of all garage tools and equipment.

• Perform commercial tire service, including tire mounting, dismounting, and balancing
• Diagnose and repair commercial vehicles, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
• Operate and maintain all garage tools and equipment, including lifts, hoists, and jacking equipment
• Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts to execute repairs
• Read, understand, and interpret technical data via instruction manuals
• Respond quickly to dispatches and provide fast, friendly, and professional service

• Minimum of three years' experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial vehicles in a shop, fleet, or roadside assistance
• Capability of independently analyzing and safely resolving problems
• Capacity to demonstrate technical knowledge of commercial vehicles, equipment, materials, methods, and tools to perform, prioritize, and complete work
• Valid CDL Class B/A Driver's License preferred, but willing to help obtain CDL
• Tire mount/dismount experience
• No DWI convictions within the past four years
• No more than one moving violation AND/OR fault accident in the last three years
• Must have clean MVR, Drug Test, pass DOT physical, and background
• Have a high school diploma
