Job Title:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Job Summary:

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, you will provide anesthesia care in the Operating Room, supporting surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. Your responsibilities will include preoperative evaluation, postoperative follow-up, and patient advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Anesthetize patients and select drugs for anesthesia and emergency treatment
  • Induce and maintain anesthesia, respond to codes, and maintain the airway
  • Monitor patients and adjust medications as needed
  • Treat variants of anesthesia and communicate patient status with the surgeon, anesthetist, and Charge CRNA
  • Assess patient status, interpret hemodynamic waveforms, and equipment status
  • Take corrective measures to maintain patient stability in pre, peri, and post-anesthesia
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania
  • Licensed Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Default Issuing Body
  • Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
