Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures, communicating with patients, and ensuring the quality of radiographs.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic to advanced radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, general fluoroscopy, and c-arm procedures.
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and address any questions or concerns.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations.
  • Identify patient and label images, compare requisitions to physician's orders, and process images to ensure quality.
  • Assist and communicate with physicians, work independently, and provide technical support to staff.
  • Prepare and maintain records, enter patient and study information into the radiology information system, and document billing codes.
  • Participate in accreditation efforts, serve as a technical resource, and act as a role model for students and staff.
Requirements:
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
