Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Cloud Application Development Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a key member of our Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) team, you will be responsible for developing custom Cloud-based Python Big Data Applications to analyze and process large datasets from connected vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the ADAS engineering team to understand their data analytics needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Design and implement automated data processing pipelines using Terraform, Docker, Tekton, and Kubernetes (Openshift) to process large datasets from connected vehicles.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Looker, LookerStudio, Apache Superset, and Qliksense to visualize and analyze data.
  • Collaborate with ADAS feature, systems, and diagnostics teams to ensure seamless integration and data exchange.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Control Systems.
  • Strong expertise in creating web applications using Python frameworks such as Dash, Flask, Streamlit, and PySpark.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms such as GCP (preferred), Azure, and AWS.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries to process Cloud-native Big Data.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Tekton, and Terraform.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Control Systems.
  • Experience with JavaScript for high-performance Big Data Geo Visualization.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as Astronomer, Airflow, and DBT.
