Key Responsibilities:- Sanitation Policy Implementation: Partner with Quality leadership and team to develop, implement, and maintain sanitation policies, procedures, and systems that meet and exceed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
- Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure compliance with all company, regulatory, and customer requirements, including FSMA, PMO, CFR, SQF Certification, and third-party requirements.
- Sanitation Training and Development: Develop and conduct facility sanitation training programs to ensure associates are equipped to safely use sanitation chemicals and equipment.
- Master Sanitation Schedule and Environmental Monitoring: Develop and maintain the plant Master Sanitation Schedule, Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems, Sterilize-In-Place (SIP) systems, and environmental monitoring programs.
- Sanitation and Allergen Preventive Controls: Implement sanitation and allergen preventive controls as they apply to the facility Food Safety Plan.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Verify and maintain all records associated with Master Sanitation Schedule, CIP Titration logs, CIP Charts, Pre-Operational Inspections, and environmental monitoring programs.
- Cost-Savings and Equipment Management: Work with sanitation chemical and equipment suppliers on cost-savings projects, managing equipment funds, and equipment necessary to execute the Master Sanitation Schedule.
- Monthly Service Reporting and Corrective Actions: Complete review of monthly service reporting for sanitation/CIP effectiveness and complete corrective actions as required.
- Facility Safety Initiatives: Promote facility safety initiatives, including training and reviewing associate behaviors to promote a ZIP (Zero Is Possible) safety culture.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate all special sanitation requirements to Plant Leadership and work collaboratively with cross-departmental operational groups to develop process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in a dairy/beverage manufacturing environment.
- Skills and Certifications: Working knowledge of dairy processing, regulatory compliance, GMP, sanitation, CIP, HACCP, and GFSI certification. Experience with XYZ technologies and certifications such as FSMA PCQI, HACCP Manager Certification, SQF Practitioner Certification, and SQF Auditor Certification.
