Job Title: Outpatient Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients with chronic kidney disease.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with patient education and counseling on dialysis treatment options and self-care techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current appropriate state licensure.
  • Minimum of 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred).
  • Chronic hemodialysis experience (preferred).
  • Successful completion of FKC Education and Training requirements for new employees.
  • Successful completion and maintenance of CPR BLS Certification.
