Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) Nurse. As a CAP Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
- Monitor patient care staff and provide guidance and support as needed to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on hemodialysis treatment and related health issues.
- Collaborate with the social worker and registered dietitian to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in staff training and orientation, and provide support and guidance to new staff members.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current appropriate state licensure.
- Minimum of 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred).
- Chronic hemodialysis experience (preferred).
- Successful completion of FKC Education and Training requirements for new employees.
- Successful completion and maintenance of CPR BLS Certification.
- Meet all conditions of employment including Ishihara's Color Blindness Test.
- Successful completion of all annual required education/training/competencies.
