Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Pod CMA/LPN/RN Clinic Nurse is a crucial member of the medical team, responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is essential in helping the medical provider respond to the increasing demands for their services.
The ideal candidate will possess a current Iowa Nursing license or graduate of medical assistant training with certification. They must also be certified in CPR or obtain certification within the first three months of employment. No clinical experience is required, except for during the formal education process.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient care through the nursing process
- Assist in patient teaching activities
- Maintain professional standards
- Perform laboratory and radiologic procedures
- Document patient information
The Pod Clinic Nurse will work closely with the medical provider and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and colleagues.
