Job Summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Washington, DC.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit environment
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document patient responses and outcomes
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to patient emergencies within 30 minutes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure adequate stock of supplies
  • Transport patients as needed, and assist with procedures and equipment
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting
  • Current licensure and certifications required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies
