Location: Residential Services for Adults and Children
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Compensation: $27.78 per hour
Work Hours: Flexible Schedule; Monday to Friday
- Options include: 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, or 9am-5pm
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the RN Supervisor to develop and implement nursing care plans for assigned clients.
- Maintain accurate medical records for your caseload.
- Administer and manage medications according to established protocols.
- Prepare and assess monthly Medication Administration Records (MARs).
- Coordinate medical follow-ups and ensure compliance with all medical directives.
- Act as a liaison with pharmacies to ensure timely medication delivery.
- Adhere to OPWDD regulatory standards in all aspects of care.
- Review and analyze nutritional and pharmacological reports.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid New York State Licensed Practical Nurse License.
- New York State Driver's License is required.
- Familiarity with OPWDD regulations is preferred.
- Knowledge of OMRDD regulations is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are advantageous.
- Excellent critical thinking abilities are necessary.
