Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN or LVN) to join our team at the Fulton County Jail - South Annex in Union City, GA. As a LPN or LVN, you will play a critical role in providing proactive, patient-focused healthcare to our unique and diverse patient population.
Responsibilities- Take and document all patient history and vital signs
- Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical surgical procedures and examinations and/or treatments
- Administer medications
- Perform venipuncture and I.V. therapy
- Collect samples, specimens and cultures
- Transcribe therapeutic orders
- Must be a graduate of an accredited program for practical or vocational nursing
- Hold and maintain a current, unrestricted nursing license in the GA
- A valid CPR card
- With a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
