Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Patient Care Specialist to provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, dialysis procedures, and machine operation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing dialysis treatment
  • Assist licensed nurses with pre and post-dialysis patient assessments and documentation
  • Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on dialysis flow sheets
  • Report any significant information or change in patient condition to the supervisor
  • Assist with emergency operational procedures and initiate basic CPR measures as needed
Requirements
  • 12 months minimum recent dialysis experience required
  • Certification as a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) required
  • High school degree or G.E.D. required
  • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
