Key Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Picker, your primary duties will include:

  1. Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards in product selection and packaging.
  2. Order Packing: Skillfully pack items to prevent damage during transit while optimizing shipping costs.
  3. Inventory Management: Identify and replace any items that are not in optimal condition with suitable alternatives.
  4. Software Proficiency: Utilize company software for generating packing lists and shipping labels, as well as correcting any address discrepancies.
  5. Shipping Coordination: Transport packages to local shipping facilities as required.

Performance Expectations:

  • Adhere to established procedures and maintain high standards in interactions with customers and colleagues.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-Time Position: 15 hours per week
  • Shifts: Mondays: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Tuesdays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM; Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Compensation:

  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and established protocols.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Physical Demands:

  • This role requires continuous standing, walking, and occasional climbing. Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of up to 50 lbs will be necessary, along with repetitive hand movements for order handling and computer use.
