We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the 6 Cathcart medical-surgical unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
The successful candidate will provide individualized patient care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age-appropriate considerations. You will collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient education to promote healthy behaviors and self-management
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited program
- More than 15 months of relevant professional nursing experience and completion of the Nurse Residency Program, if applicable
- BLS/CPR certification as a healthcare provider
