Job Summary: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Pennsylvania Hospital's 6 Cathcart medical-surgical unit. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to teamwork, continuous quality improvement, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. They will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized care plans, providing direct patient care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication and coordinate care.

Responsibilities:
  1. • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age-appropriate considerations for assigned patients
    • Provide direct patient care through application of the nursing process and accept accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication, coordinate care, and promote a culture of safety and quality
    • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:
  • • BLS/CPR certification as per the American Heart Association
    • Registered Nurse license in PA
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or equivalent
    • Minimum 15 months of relevant professional nursing experience
