About this role:

As a Medical Oncology Physician at Intermountain Health in Southern Nevada, you will work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience.

This role offers the opportunity to provide care to oncology/hematology patients, including outpatient and inpatient consultations, disease diagnosis, and treatment implementation.

You will be part of a value-based care setting, serving a large Medicare Advantage population in Nevada.

The position is supported by a team of medical assistants, nurses, and support staff, as well as Oncology Nurse Navigators to support patients during their treatment course.

With a 4-day patient-facing work week schedule and a reasonable call schedule, this position offers a great work-life balance.

Intermountain Health provides patients with a range of cancer care therapies, including medical oncology, clinical hematology, cancer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy.

What you'll bring:

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Residency training in Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology
  • Board certification or eligibility in Oncology
  • Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
