The Capital Grille is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender at The Capital Grille, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest services in the bar area by:

  • Mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
  • Helping guests become aware of and choose menu items, taking orders, and making guests feel taken care of during their visit
  • Keeping the bar stocked and clean
  • Adhering to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a positive dining experience
  • Prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, wine, and beer
  • Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the storage and handling of liquor, beer, and wine
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar
  • Knowledge of mixology and ability to create classic and signature cocktails
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
