Key Responsibilities- Develop electrical systems designs based on project scope and client requirements.
- Provide engineering planning, design, and construction administration for electrical systems, including power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Conduct existing building surveys and documentations of electrical and fire alarm systems.
- Write and edit project specifications.
- Minimum 5 years of design experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- LEED certification or experience.
- PE/EIT preferred.
- Experience with projects in healthcare, science and technology, education, and commercial buildings.
- Knowledge of electrical calculations, including lighting photometric calcs, voltage drop, and overcurrent protection coordination.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines.
- Excellent work ethic and attitude.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance, and prioritize work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
