Project Manager - Chesapeake, VA
Job Overview

As a Project Manager at Endurance IT Services, you will lead project teams responsible for delivering high-quality products and services to stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to oversee the successful implementation of medium to large projects by ensuring requirements, design, testing, and implementation are completed with high quality, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product, technology, operations, and third-party service providers to design and implement products, services, and solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure they are kept up to date with progress and the business benefits are achieved.
  • Manage projects in accordance with the bank's project methodology, and solutions adhere to risk and compliance policy.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all project deliverables by service providers and project team members.
  • Monitor and evaluate usability or testing of systems, processes, and documentation, as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues in the technology and business departments as well as service providers.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and develop strategies for handling unexpected issues that may arise.
  • Provide a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with employees in any position.
  • Maintain Regular Attendance

Requirements:

  • Must have 3+ years of previous project management experience or equivalent work experience with demonstrated skills including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to recognize and focus on critical issues which may impede the timely progression or execution of projects.
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills with ability to foster attendee participation and collaboration in small and large groups.
  • Dependable, Self-Motivated with a Positive Attitude.
  • Ability to think outside the box, show initiative, and be inquisitive.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Deductive reasoning skills to analyze problems and respond quickly in a demanding environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, Business, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, and effective delivery of products and services.
  • PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization.
