Job Summary:

As a Quality Control Laboratory Technician at Della Infotech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting chemical and physical laboratory tests of solid materials, liquids, and gases, and analyzing test data to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate performance testing equipment and analytical instrumentation, ensuring proper maintenance, calibration, and repairs as needed.
• Perform detailed ASTM, SAE, and FTM testing of key characteristics for raw materials, intermediates, production batches, and R&D/Technical Service samples.
• Conduct aviation-specific performance testing, viscometric testing, tribology testing, foam/emulsion testing, and grease testing.
• Characterize ultra-clean requirements using spectroscopic light scattering particle counters and quantitative gravimetric Millipore filtration analysis.
• Perform wet chemical titration methods, including Karl Fisher, total acid/base number, specific gravity, pour/flash/fire point, and electrical properties analysis.
• Conduct analytical analysis using ICP, HPLC, GC, and FTIR, and perform routine control charting on critical tests.
• Troubleshoot and communicate deviations or trends, and maintain accurate, well-organized, and defensible documentation of all results.
• Interface with software such as SAP, and participate in internal quality audits and external customer audits of laboratory performance.
• Perform PTHAs, JSAs, and support plant/department Safety and 5S initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Associate's degree with lab experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to interface with cross-functional teams and external customers.
• Proficiency in laboratory equipment and software, with ability to learn new technologies and procedures as needed.
