Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Sonographer to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of technical procedures, including ultrasound exams, to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and achieve high-quality diagnostic results.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols to ensure accurate and effective procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography Program.
  • Registered Medical Sonographer (RMS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
