Job Overview

InnovitUSA is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our Administrative Applications Production Data Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing modifications and enhancements to the Financial Data Warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database design, analysis, and performance tuning, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in enterprise applications and/or services development. You will be responsible for creating technical and functional design documentation, working with multi-tier system/application development, and implementing database security and disaster recovery procedures.

Additionally, you will assist in the selection of database management software, experience with data warehouse applications and/or database reporting features, and have a working knowledge of EIR Accessibility standards and assistive technologies.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement modifications and enhancements to the Financial Data Warehouse
  • Perform advanced database development tasks for databases used by an application with complex data models, workflows, and reports
  • Optimize database performance during and after migration, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and implement monitoring solutions to track database health and performance metrics
  • Develop new views, tables, and PL/SQL code to be used by the customer of the Financial Data Warehouse application
  • Work closely with the team to create and maintain logical and physical data models, with a primary focus on Oracle

Requirements:

  • 6 years of experience in Oracle database design, analysis, and performance tuning
  • 6 years of experience in enterprise applications and/or services development
  • Experience with multi-tier system/application development (SOA, Microservices, 3-Tier applications)
  • Jira experience (1 year preferred)
  • Oracle Certification (1 year preferred)
  • Experience with data warehouse applications and/or database reporting features (1 year preferred)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum)
  • Experience with database security and disaster recovery procedures
  • Working knowledge of EIR Accessibility standards and assistive technologies
