Welder Specialist

CNH Industrial is seeking a highly skilled Welder Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using GMAW or GTAW.

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions utilizing GMAW or GTAW.
• Prepare all material surfaces to be welded in accordance with cleanliness and bevel requirements.
• Cut aluminum extrusions to length as needed using saws.
• Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors.
• Examine workpieces for defects and ensure conformance with specifications.
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
• Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment.
• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
• Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required.
• Maintain welding equipment.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, using cutting torches, and hand tools.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Aluminum advanced welding experience with 5+ years.
• Completion of an apprenticeship and/or certification.
