We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at General Physician, P.C. Our organization is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to the Western New York community.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at General Physician, P.C., you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and specialties, including oncology, interventional spine and pain, primary care, pulmonary, thoracic surgery, and OBGYN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist providers with the administration of patient care, including medication management and prior authorizations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Perform telephone triage and assess patient needs to provide timely and appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to prevent unnecessary hospital re-admissions and ensure proper follow-up care.
  • Enter orders into the EMR system and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements
  • Applicable state license and two-year degree preferred.
  • Proven work experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes, CPR certification, and strong clinical skills preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to utilize computer programs.
