Position Overview:

Catholic Health is excited to announce the establishment of a new Ambulatory & Urgent Care facility. This multispecialty practice will provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care, along with urgent care services, aimed at serving the community effectively.

This role of Safety and Security Specialist is integral to maintaining a secure environment within the healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding grounds.
  • Monitor visitor access, lighting conditions, and unauthorized parking.
  • Assess the state of parking areas, curbs, and walkways.
  • Enforce security protocols and participate in the Hospital Emergency Management Response Team.
  • Document incidents as necessary and undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Possession of a Security Officer License in New York State.
  • Prior experience in law enforcement is preferred.
  • A valid Driver's License is mandatory.

Compensation:
The salary for this position is set at USD $29.00 per hour. This figure is a good faith estimate and actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. The stated salary does not encompass potential bonuses, differential pay, or other forms of compensation that may apply.
