• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including FDA, AABB, and CAP guidelines.
• Manage the collection, processing, and distribution of blood and blood components.
• Implement and oversee quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of test outcomes.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care and optimize blood resource utilization.
Requirements
Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related discipline.
Certification:
• ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB).
Experience:
• A minimum of three years of experience in a hospital blood bank environment, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
