Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will enjoy an 8-hour day shift that allows for a healthy work-life balance. While flexibility is valued, there may be occasions when your presence is required on holidays and weekends.
As a Veterinarian, your day will begin with thorough examinations of your furry patients in our fully-equipped exam rooms. You will leverage your acupuncture certification and veterinary expertise to diagnose and create tailored treatment plans for each pet's unique needs. Collaboration with our team of highly trained, rehabilitation-certified therapists will be essential as you work in our spacious area designed for floor exercises or utilize one of our three water treadmills. For advanced treatments, you will have access to therapeutic ultrasound, e-stim devices, and three Respond System lasers. Additionally, you will provide guidance to pet owners on pain management, hydrotherapy, traditional Chinese medicine, and the use of braces, prostheses, or carts as necessary.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree with a current California DVM license
- Certification in acupuncture
- Interest in or certification in rehabilitation medicine
- Reliable commuting ability or willingness to relocate with employer-provided assistance
