Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Nilfisk Group. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining quality-assurance processes, testing products, and recording/analyzing data to support quality procedures during all production phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process quality control (IPQC) and final quality control (FQC) testing and inspection on finished machines and service kits.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot in-process assembly, end-of-line (EOL) customer claims, and report potential assembly nonconformance.
  • Maintain and communicate daily, monthly, and quarterly key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform and report internal process audits, assist with implementation of corrective actions, and review engineering change orders (ECOs) with quality.
  • Support the development and maintenance of IPQC/FQC-related procedures and documentation in line with ISO 9001 and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a 6S work environment, quality calibration schedule, and related tasks.
  • Initiate and communicate quality alerts for production-related issues.
Requirements
  • Technical degree or associate's degree in a related field, or ASQ Quality Technician certification (CQT).
  • 3 years of experience in mechanical production or a related technical field.
  • Experience in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems and components.
  • Keen attention to detail, leadership skills, and good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, stand and walk for the duration of the shift, and lift 50 pounds.
  • Basic understanding of design drawings, experience in measurement and testing techniques, and experience in an ISO 9001 environment.
  • Preferred experience with ISO and positive team-oriented collaborative approach to tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Visual Factory (or equivalent software) knowledge desirable.
  • ERP system experience desirable (SAP preferred).
  • Data analysis knowledge and application abilities preferred.
