Role Summary:

The Project Coordinator will oversee budgeting and scheduling processes, ensure adherence to quality standards, manage contract compliance, and administer project management systems. This role includes supervising site personnel, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and sustain client relationships.
  • Assist in negotiating and managing client contract terms.
  • Oversee cost estimates, including takeoffs, schedules, and proposals.
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids during the project proposal phase.
  • Manage subcontract agreements and vendor orders for specific projects.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and forecasts.
  • Assess job performance and production metrics, and update schedules accordingly.
  • Engage in the planning and scheduling of ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and ensure proper documentation of agendas and minutes.
  • Review and respond to all project-related documents, including correspondence, drawings, specifications, and change requests.
  • Prepare cost estimates for changes and maintain logs of proposed modifications.
  • Participate in company-wide and project-specific safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in site preparation and related projects.
  • Proficiency in estimating, subcontractor management, scheduling, and procurement.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving project demands.
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices, safety regulations, and quality assurance.
  • Proficient in relevant software applications, including Viewpoint, HCSS, AutoCAD, and Primavera.
