Job Summary:

The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and validating architectural and functional requirements, specifications, and interfaces for airborne weapons systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in integrating novel new technologies on existing weapons platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify required resources, schedule dependencies, and contracting actions needed to support software engineering efforts.
  • Analyze software engineering problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications, system design, and development issues.
  • Interface with system or program contractors, vendors, and Government representatives regarding technical aspects of programs/projects.
  • Ensure project procedures and controls are followed, and lead problem resolution efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in Software Engineering, including participation in SETR events.
  • Experience analyzing commercially available, open source, government furnished, and contractor furnished software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
