Role Overview

We are in search of a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of the digital identity ecosystem. We seek a skilled engineer who demonstrates technical leadership and thrives in the challenge of establishing and scaling extensive infrastructures while addressing security vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and sustain scalable, high-performance production infrastructure, ensuring reliability across our systems.
  • Lead technical initiatives in DevOps and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Support the remediation of audit and compliance findings.
  • Collaborate with the security operations team to enhance security measures and manage vulnerabilities.
  • Identify and resolve scaling challenges (e.g., PostgreSQL connection pooling).
  • Assist in the maintenance of data warehousing and other essential infrastructure.
  • Participate in on-call duties for production incidents.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in medium to large-scale production environments.
  • Proficient in CI/CD methodologies and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Strong expertise in HashiCorp technologies (Terraform, Vault, Consul, Nomad).
  • Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably GCP and AWS.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Proficient in PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Solid background in Linux/Unix administration and networking.
  • Prior experience in application development.
