We are seeking a talented Clinical Product Engineer to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management division at Abbott. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative technologies that improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical applications and be able to apply their knowledge to drive project success. You will engage with customers throughout the product development cycle, define clinical and workflow requirements, and represent the Voice of Customer in product development. Additionally, you will work with field and medical personnel to define benchmarks for evaluating clinical performance.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement clinical evaluation protocols, data analysis, and reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products and features
  • Provide input to risk management files and Clinical Evaluation Reports
  • Supervise and train junior engineers on assigned work
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in biomedical, mechanical, electrical, or similar engineering field
  • Minimum 6 years of progressively more responsible work experience in clinical medical device experience or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to apply understanding of clinical application to issues in order to bring tasks to resolution within assigned projects
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, quantitative, analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills
