As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by accurately managing inventory levels, operating forklifts, and maintaining organized inventory and work areas.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • **Inventory Management:** Accurately pull work tickets, manage inventory levels, and maintain accurate records to meet production demands.
  • **Forklift Operations:** Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to maintain a safe working environment.
  • **Inventory Organization:** Maintain organized inventory and work areas to optimize productivity.
  • **Bin Location Assignment:** Assign bin locations and put away incoming products in a timely manner.
  • **Interdepartmental Support:** Support Production, Receiving, Shipping, and Facilities Departments as needed.
  • **Cycle Counts and Audits:** Perform cycle counts, daily audits of pallets, and data entry of inventory audits in the ERP system.
  • **ERP System Navigation:** Have a good understanding of the ERP system and navigate it effectively.
  • **Cross-Training:** Cross-train in Receiving functions and process incoming orders, check quantities, and update inventory levels.
**Requirements:**
  • **Inventory Management Principles:** Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • **Organizational and Time Management Skills:** Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • **Teamwork and Communication:** Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • **ERP System Knowledge:** Basic knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management software.
