At Cencora, we are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a Central Fill Specialist role. As a Pharmacy Technician - Central Fill Specialist, you will be responsible for the daily fulfillment of Optifill 1 canisters with identified prescription drugs and manual fill pharmacy stations.

Key responsibilities include operating Optifill 1 automated fulfillment equipment, accurately fulfilling prescriptions, capping, and printing of pharmacy vial labels, and performing daily maintenance of canisters and cleaning of machines. You will also be responsible for restocking drugs and supplies for use by Optifill and manual pick stations, performing canister repairs, and handling overall troubleshooting of Optifill machines.

Additionally, you will assist the Inventory Coordinator with check-in and put-away of daily wholesale drug orders following product storage procedures and standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements include some technical vocational training, or an equivalent combination of experience and education, and completion of State, National, or NACDS technical training as required by State. Normally, one to two years of related experience is required, with previous experience in Retail or Hospital pharmacy preferred.
