Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Operate assigned equipment according to standard procedures and maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing leaders to establish, implement, and enhance standard work practices.
- Conduct training sessions for operators on standard work and troubleshooting techniques.
- Recommend improvements to operating procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs, including LPMS, 5S, KATA, and Kaizen events.
- Troubleshoot machine stoppages, perform repairs, and facilitate escalation processes as needed.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities during downtime or partner with operations, mechanics, and engineers to execute maintenance tasks.
- Monitor production quality and take action according to standard work and SOPs.
- Complete required documentation, including batch records, log books, PM, and DM, following good documentation practices.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of related experience or completion of technical requirements with passing assessment at an appropriate level.
- A high school diploma or GED, with an associate's or technical degree preferred.
- Applicable industry or professional certification is desirable.
- Regular and predictable on-site attendance is essential.
