Automotive Service Technician

Gwinnett County Public Schools, located in the metro Atlanta area, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a school system of choice, we are committed to providing exceptional education to our students and community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and Official Code of Georgia Annotated (O.C.G.A.) mandated inspections for a large school bus fleet and perform preventive maintenance services and repairs for the department of Transportation and Fleet Maintenance. The ideal candidate will have three years of experience as an automotive and/or diesel service technician and possess ASE certification in S4 School Bus Brakes and T8 Truck Preventive Maintenance and Inspection within 12 months of hire.
We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
