Position Overview

TRC is currently looking for enthusiastic and diverse Environmental Interns to join our Summer Internship Program. This is a paid full-time opportunity designed for students pursuing degrees in relevant fields. Interns will gain hands-on experience while working closely with experienced professionals, including Project Managers and Team Leaders.

Key Responsibilities

As an Environmental Intern, you will:
  • Assist with various project-related tasks, including regulatory compliance, research, and procurement.
  • Conduct data entry, management, evaluation, and presentation.
  • Support the development of reports, plans, and specifications for clients.
  • Participate in fieldwork, including groundwater and soil sampling, as well as ecological assessments.
  • Provide engineering calculations and design support for various projects.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated technical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with engineering software applications (e.g., AutoCAD, ESRI, HydroCAD) is a plus.
  • OSHA safety training is preferred but not mandatory.
