Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute purchase requisitions, Request for Quotation (RFQ), and analyze quotes for competitiveness.
  • Purchase materials, supplies, services, and prepare file documentation, including sole source justifications and best value determinations.
  • Coordinate contract flow-downs and terms and conditions with contracts managers.
  • Participate in proposal activities and assist project teams in contract preparation and execution.
  • Perform close-out duties associated with subcontracts and contracts.
  • Monitor and update entity registrations in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Compile and maintain purchase order/contract records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliant record retention practices and maintain purchasing/contract files.
  • Prepare various agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements, for management review and execution.
  • Interface with internal/external customers to provide PO/Contractual guidance and support contract and program managers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-2 years experience in purchasing/procurement with knowledge in contract administration practices.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and strong administrative skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, with a high level of patience and service.
