Corporate Accounting Analyst Job Description

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accounting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our accounting and finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial transactions and contributing to financial analysis and compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transaction Review: Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Financial Data Analysis: Review financial data to ensure it is useful and understandable, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Accounting Procedure Development: Assist in developing new accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Professional Certifications: CPA or actively pursuing CPA.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate accounting or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Expert in Excel and proficient in PowerBI.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Solid interpersonal skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
